Every service offered by Jackson Reconstruction is geared toward one of two common goals: 1) reaching sound, evidence-based conclusions through the collection, analysis, and synthesis of the available evidence, and 2) communicating those conclusions in the clearest, most effective way possible.
Data Recovery & Analysis
Today, the majority of collisions will involve one or more vehicles with the capability to record collision-related electronic information, what some might call “black box” information. Whether stored as part of an airbag system, an engine control system, a collision mitigation system, or inside various infotainment systems, Jackson Reconstruction can recover the data on-site or, in some cases, recover specific components for recovery by the manufacturer. Once the data is in-hand, our team can analyze it with an understanding of how the information is recorded along with any limitations inherent in the source so that we may properly incorporate the data into our investigation.
Graphics & Animation
Conclusions are only as good as one’s ability to express them. As we go through our process of collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing the evidence, we’re considering how best to communicate our findings. Visual illustrations, be they 2D perspective drawings or complicated 3D animations, are often the perfect tool to complement a concise, written report in that they provide a visual means to understand the information, such as collision sequences, relative speeds, driver actions, and so on. To create these visuals, Jackson Reconstruction utilizes cutting-edge, industry-specific graphics/animation/simulation software to maximize our ability to not just tell you, but show you.
Advanced Evidence Collection
A reconstruction is the finished product of a best-fit puzzle where the pieces are made up of all the bits of information collected over the course of the investigation. The higher quality the pieces, the better fit of the finished puzzle. With this in mind, Jackson Reconstruction uses laser instruments, drone photography, and photogrammetric and LiDAR scanning to accurately document the relevant evidence from the collision scene and participant vehicles, ensuring precision pieces for a better finished product.
24/7 Rapid Response
Collisions can happen at any time, night or day, and when they do, you need answers as soon as possible so that informed decisions can be made in a timely manner. In addition, evidence can be volatile; it doesn’t last forever. Tire evidence can degrade rapidly, especially on heavily traveled highways; telling electronic evidence can be overwritten. For these reasons and more, Jackson Reconstruction is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get investigative boots on the ground so you can get conclusive answers as soon as possible.
